Make Your Own Spray Inks!!

Good morning!

I have gotten a lot of requests for my “recipe” for my spray inks. So I decided to make a tutorial and show you just how I did it.

I love bright colors and most of the spray inks I have ever tried to make dried in a light pastel style. This doesn’t work for me! I want bright, vibrant colors once they dry. Which is why I love Dylusions. But they are expensive and I go through them so quickly.

I spent about $2.50 for the bottle and the colors (each). There is enough of the color left over after making the ink for about 3 more bottles full!!!! So for $2.50 I get 4 bottles of ink. Bright, beautiful, vibrant ink!! I have 10 beautiful colors!!

I used a travel sized spray bottle and Wilton icing colors. These colors I found at Walmart in the craft baking section. They had a box that was $13 for a bunch of colors but I think the jars were smaller. I used 3 pretty big “scoops” for the black. The more “scoops” you use, the darker the color. 🙂

I hope you enjoy the video!! I would love to see what you all create with your own colors!! I plan on using the paper that I sprayed on as an art journal background. 🙂

As always if you like what we are doing like, share, comment, and scream it from the rooftops!!

Thank you so very much! The best part is the colors stay this vibrant even once they dry! Love it!! If you create your own we would love to see what colors you chose to make!!
