Good morning!
In this episode of Gelli Play Wednesday I decided to mix things up a bit. I love playing with my Gelli plate but all too often I end up with piles and piles of gelli prints. That is where I lose my inspiration. I never know what to do with them. I eventually get some ideas. But I wish it wasn’t so difficult to get them into my journal. *lightbulb* Why not print in my journal?
So that is exactly what I did! I love the pages! They will be amazing backgrounds!
In the video you will see that I clean my brayer in an art journal. I find that many times the cleanings turn into their own beautiful pages. The same goes for “cleaning” my stencils. I will be the first to admit I am terrible at cleaning my stencils. I brayer or rub the paint off into a journal and call it good. And sometimes those turn out to be my favorite prints.
I hope you guys enjoy the video. It was a fun experiment and now I am hooked!! (Supplies are listed below the video)
As always if you like what we are doing like, comment, share and scream it from the rooftops!
See you next week!
