Today I had a hard time figuring out just what I wanted to play with. I settled on my 5×7 Gelli plate because I want to make some cutouts for my art journal.
I have a very unique way of making my prints. I never know what the end result will be. Sometimes I like a print after just one pull like this one:
Other times one of my favorite prints is the one that I used to “clean” my stencils.
Sometimes I make a mistake and try to save the print. The most important thing to remember when being creative is nothing is perfect. There are no mistakes in art. Just remember to have fun. Creating should never be a chore.
The materials I used are:
5×7 Gelli plate
Tim Holtz Distress Paints (twisted citron, mermaid lagoon, seedless preserves, mustard seed, picked raspberry, wilted violet, and spiced marmalade)
Crafters Workshop stencils
